Carrie Week of Sept 5 to Sept 11

Ahh Carly beat me to the punch! Great Job carly. This week I lost 3 points. I earned 25 points. I have a total of 207

Wow, I beat Carrie to it this week!  Alright!  I am back in the game.  I worked out my 4 days, didn't snack on any carbs during the days, no seconds, and did pretty well with the veggie thing!

Aug 31 to Sept 4--Carly

Well...I am back in the game now!  No more little vacations for me.  Phew...this week I am already perfect...well besides Monday.  But last week I could maybe count 12 points.  Not to bad for being on vacation eh?  We went on a nice hike and we ate lots of fruits and veggies (but we ate lots of NOT fruits and veggies too!!)

Carrie week of Aug 31 to Sept 4

Carrie had a tough week. I earned 24 points. So funny too because it was Carter's birthday and I didn't have any ice cream on his birthday but I couldn't resist the buttermilk syrup I made for his borthday breakfast. I had the left overs of the syrup a few days later when I made pancakes again. I also did not exercise on Friday or saturday this week. So my running total is now 182.

Carly--Aug 22 to Aug 28

Maybe I got 8 points for not snacking junk and not having seconds last week.  That's really really bad.  No exercise, no veggies/fruits and ate HORRIBLY at MOm and Dad's house (but it was really fun). 

Now I'm off to Todd's parents...hmmm...it's a good thing I don't travel a lot or I'd be a mess.  I get in vacation mode and eating healthily and exercising are not on the top of my list!!!

I got 22 points.  Did great with working out again, did great with no carb snacks and did great with portion control...those darn veggies still are getting me!  I need to make more of an effort for sure cause I know it will be helpful for me in my weight loss.

Carly's Points 8/1 to 8/7

This past week was horrible.  Oh man...not sure I even want to post.  I've got to get back on this bandwagon.  I get a one track mind when I have something big coming up and that's all I can focus on till it's over.  So baby shower and RS lesson took all my focus.  No excuses...Todd tells me..it's only an hour!!!  I have still been perfect with the no carb snacking so that is good!!!

Generia earned only 21 points. Dad & I always weigh on Sundays and I actually lost 1 1/2 pounds! Don't know how that happened when I only earned 21 pts??? Tonight is Darlene's BD so guess I'll be eating cake & ice cream--yum! :( Don't know what my total is--hope this websites keeps track

Week of 8/1 to 8/7

Carrie earned 26 points this week. I really want to add drinking more water to my list too. Regardless, I am going to try to increase my water intake this week. Doing pretty well, only had sweets on Sunday (we made homemade ice cream in our ice cream maker for the first time. I exercised 5 days-- having a tough time fitting in 6 days a week lately. Once school starts it should be a bit easier. On to another week . . . My running total is 78.

Carly's Points 7/25 to 8/1

23 points for me.  Todd and I went out to dinner on Friday and I had a hard time with portion control...and those darn veggies are still getting me.  Also, on Tuesday I had a dessert night with RS--that wasn't too great either!   Why or why is that so hard for me?  I have been perfect on my exercise goal for 3 weeks straight though.  Still not losing.  Guess I'm not being as strict as i need to be in the food department still.

Only got 23 points this week. Exercise is the hardest for me--just don't want to move I guess. Had flu (or something) Sat & Sun do didn't do so well then either. Is Doug on board?

Carrie earned 26 points again this week. I missed one of my workout days and had a carb snack on another. I really enjoyed my weekly treat today though . . . it made the whole week sweet-free worth it!!

Sorry I'm a bit late on my points post.  I got 25 points.  A few of those days I just couldn't bring myself to eat another serving of veggies.  Everything else has been good.  Oh and who knew the hardest thing would be not having a second bowl of cereal in the morning.  Oh how I love my cereal!!!

Week of July 18-24

This week I earned only 23 points :( I forgot to have a smaller portion yesterday. :(
I'm having the hardest time drinking four bottles of water/day, so think I'll decrease that goal to 24 ounces/day. I'm also going to move my exercise up to 20 min/day. I'm so sore from Friday because Dad and I went up some mild hills--everything below my waist (what waist?) aches!

Carrie Week of July18-24

I earned 26 points this week. I would have been perfect, but we decided to go up to Snowflake, AZ on Friday and Saturday for "Pioneer Days" celebration with all Lamar's family. Lamar's uncle does a huge chili feed after the parade for family and friends. His aunt made 18 loaves of homemade bread then for dessert his uncle made 14 flavors of homemade ice cream. Yeah, I know you wish you were there too.

Since this is week 1 my running total is: 26 !!

Carly's Four Goals

Alright...here are my 4 goals for now. 

1.  All snacks must be fruits, vegetables, or a protein of some kind.  No more junk/carb snacking. 
2.  Must work out 4 times a week for one hour. 
3.  Must eat at least 2 fruit servings and 2 veggie servings each day. 
4.  No seconds or over eating.  Portion control! Stop eating when content, not stuffed.

Mom's plan

1. 32 oz. of water daily
2. Eat only healthy snacks and limit bread to 1 slice per day
3. Exercise for 20 minutes daily (I will increase this as I become more fit!)
4. Eat smaller portions and never have seconds
